EF Education is looking for the class with the best level of English in Germany! Contribute with your class to the results of the worldwide research for the EF English Proficiency Index by determining the language level of your students. For this purpose, we offer a free 50-minute online language level assessment - by testing with the class, you automatically take part in the EF English Championship. The students then receive a language certificate.

How do I participate in the EF Championship with my class?

Participation in the student competition and the associated language level determination for your class is very easy: Register for free and we will send you a link to the personal test page for your class. The test can be taken on desktop computers, tablets or mobile phones, after which the students receive a certificate. We are happy to visit you at your school as part of the language level determination, support the testing and at the same time offer a free lesson with a native English teacher on a topic of your choice. At the end of the 2019/2020 school year, a voucher of € 500 will be made available to the class fund for the best class of each year.

What is the EF SET Online Language Assessment?

The EF Standard English Test (EF SET) is an adaptive, 50-minute online language test, the results of which are aligned with the European Framework of Reference for Languages. The results enable a comparison with internationally recognized language exams such as Cambridge English, IELTS or TOEFL. The test results of the EF SET flow into the EF EPI, the world's largest ranking of countries according to your English skills. All participants then receive a free language certificate for their own language level - their students can assess themselves and compare them internationally.
